The start of the holiday season kept Edith K very busy. Being mom's little helper at crafts shows,
making lots of lovely food at school, shopping, sleepovers with Maelah and lots of playdates with
Franny, Ian and Maelah. Stella (ccc) had a birthday party and so did Mommy. The end of the month was Thanksgiving and we had a lovely time in Gilroy with Uncle Chris, Aunt Kelly, Aunt Bobby, Nanna, Grandpa and Molly. Who else? My cousins Emma and Annabelle and their friends.
Lots of tickling, cuddling, running, playing dress-up, crying, laughing and more tickling.
We will be in England for Xmas, so the next blog will be in January, have a great holiday everyone!

Another month went by swiftly. Mom was away on a work trip for the first part but Aunt Vivi
came over from England to visit, so we kept busy. Had lots of fun with Vivi at Little Farm, Lake Anza, local parks, playing fairies and we took
a trip on highway 1 to visit the wild beaches of the coast, ending in Santa Cruz. Bijou and Franny
had their birthday parties, had a sleepover at Maelah's, dressing like princesses with Ian.
Shots at the doctors for flu and h1n1. The zoo. Everyone is settling in at school and Mom and Dad are kept busy too, buying supplies and doing some 'school fixing/painting'. Halloween
was fun, dressing like Snow White. Trick or Treating on 4th street and local houses, also
giving out lollipops to kids who came to our house (but freaking out about big kids in masks).
'I dont like scary maskees'.

The month started off with a new pre-school,
the Children's Community Center. What a great place it is, I get to work/play with the kids one
morning a week and our 'family job' is being
the purchasers for the school, buying supplies
etc..So we are all involved and active in Edith's
place of learning. It has also been a month of birthdays, going to several parties including
Annabelles, Maelays, Stellas and Trieces. Lots
of playdates and parks and dinnerdates and
sleepovers. Another party at Xtinas new house
and the month ended with a camping trip for
the kids at CCC.

A mad dash of doing things before school starts.
Play-dates with Maelah, Ian, Wiley, Lola and Arianna. The annual Olden Family gathering was in Boulder, Colorado. Lots of fun with cousins. Her first sleepover at Maelah was a success, so I see more in the future. Big girl bed, bubble gum, jelly-beans, free-wheeling on her scooter. The month ended with Jake and Lola's birthday parties. We also had a CCC (pre-school) Party where everyone got to know each other......school here we come.

July 09
It has been a month of travel. Long weekend in Seal Beach,
a week at Lake Tahoe and a weekend in Gilroy. The month started off with the yearly 4th July Xtina Party, then visiting Nana
and Grandpa. A lovely vacation at The Fontaines' Tahoe Home.
Katie and Chris's wedding ended the month in Gilroy.
Lots of parks, summer school, movie nights with Ian, Wednesday night dinners and visiting Franny in hospital (very glad she back home..hooray!)......I have a feeling August is going to be just as busy.

June 2009

June marked the end of Edie's first year of preschool. We went camping with Hilary, Jeremy & Jake at Lake Jenkinson - had a camp fire going the whole weekend. Lots of playdates with Maelah and Ian, trips to the zoo and lake anza. We ended the month with a BBQ at Timmy & Michael's in Petaluma, Ian's birthday and the start of summer school.

may came and went in a flash, are the months going by faster?

hula hooping, dad did a sing-a-long at school, mel's BBQ,
a new desk, camping with sarah walsh and friends, make-up party
with bijou and stella, playdates with ian, maelah and wiley.
lots of swimming at lake anza, strawberry canyon and pool party
at her cousins. ella turned one, so another party.
