just finished knitting edie a dress. she is smiling more and more, and so are we. if she would only smile for the camera........

edie met her cousins emma and annabelle on sunday in monterey. emma liked holding baby edie. this was edie's first trip out of the bay area.
she is looking forward to meeting her boy cousins in april.

this is where edie spends most of her time... in the sling preferably with a finger in her mouth. this is when she is the happiest.

edie's godfather, seth, gave her this pretty dress. we wanted to capture her in it before she outgrew it. so fancy.

edie turned one month old yesterday. they measured her at the doctor's for her check up and she's grown 2 inches - she's in the 95th percentile for height. she'll be taller then sacha and i soon.

this is our second week without sacha here during the day, edie and i have been keeping busy - we average one excursion per day and get back in time to watch oprah and dad to come home. i'm loving not working and trying not to think about the beginning of may when i have to go back...

she is awake sometimes... we promise.
