christmas eve.
we are still here..waiting for Edie to appear...
opened our last present from Jean, it was Leslie's
noogie (her childhood comfort blanket).
Mum-to-be went to acupuncture yesterday, try to
get things moving. I have finished work for a while.
I think these are going to be the longest days ever.......

the countdown has begun, i'm due at the end of the week.

we had friends from england staying here over the weekend, which was a nice distraction from waiting. but now they are gone and sacha's back at work so i'm following the cats around the house (see picture), knitting another sweater for edie and creating a playlist on my ipod to listen to while i'm in labor. need to finish packing the bag(s) for the hospital...

sacha had a run in with a fence during last night's tennis date. mind you, he still won the match, just not the match with the fence.


i'm a lady of leisure... which so far has involved doing lots of laundry and shopping for xmas presents. shopping isn't so fun when you have to take so many breaks. with a belly like this, i attract a lot worried looks from sales people thinking i'm going to give birth in their store. i went to xtina's acupuncture appt today to watch her get stuck with needles and find out about induction if edie decides she is in for the long haul.

Rock N Shop was last thursday and I sold a bunch of jewelry - see the jewelry tree when it was full. it was hard not to spend all my earnings at other designer's tables.

we had our last childbirth class on monday... i'm officially ready to have the little one now, if only her head would drop and we could get on with it. tomorrow is my last day at work until may, very hard to believe, but so happy, that i won't return to an office for that long. time to putter...
